While a student at Western University Margaret Weryk completed a 16 month internship with Labatt Breweries as a Microbiology Technician. After she graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Medical Science degree Labatt offered her a full time position to begin right away. A medical science degree and a career in food and beverage processing might not seem like an obvious match.
